As reported by ESPN and CBS, Rodney Terry will not return as Texas coach as we have been reporting for multiple days.

Was really hoping we wouldn’t hear anything today but oh well.  I’m….whelmed with Sean Miller.  

Imagine we get a new coach later today. If CDC follows his patterns with coaches. Excited for a new start. Hookem

Sean Miller is a solid hire. Have to wait to see if it’s him. CDC doesn’t like to fire without hiring.

It’s a safe, comfort hire for CDC.  I don’t see it being a failure but we’ll hang around for a while hoping to breakthrough.  

If we make the Sweet 16 every other year with an occasional deep run I’d be thrilled.

….but Chip Brown said he was the first to report it - everyone knew he was being fired when he lost to Xavier - thanks for the breaking news.

This is the realistic outlook fans should have, imo. Of course everyone’s goal is to win a championship, but that doesn’t mean it’s realistic for this program in its current state. 

I’m sure we’ll hear that CDC conducted a massive search and Miller was the top of the list.  In reality he’s been CDCs coach in waiting for 2 years.

That’d be pretty high cotton for UT basketball. We’ve been to 3 Final Fours in the 86 year history of the NCAA tournament, and people are acting like it’s a birthright around here.
