#2/1 Alabama comes to town tonight in MBB

Featured Replies

Since no one had started a thread, I will start it. Two game losing streak, big opportunity at home. If you think we have no chance, you should call your local bookie very soon and pound Alabama (-4.5/-190 ML). How are we feeling?

Mark should be back, so it’s at least another body. He’s really struggled lately. I will be at the game hoping for a great game. Going to take Texas playing its best game of the year on both ends of the court.

If true UT men's bball fashion, we'll likely win tonight and follow up with losses to Kentucky + South Carolina.

This is so true it's sad.

Thing to remember: According to KenPom, Texas still has the toughest schedule in the SEC. That won't be going down this week.

After this week, they'll be meeting teams at their level or worse.

Let’s hope not so we can end the nightmare that is hiring of RT after this season.

Yeah the opponent's HC could be auditioning for his new role tonight.  Wife will probably be shopping for homes in Austin after tonight.

Yep built a top five program and solid fan base. Going to drop it all to come to a micro size fan base, that bitches non stop, doesn’t travel and waits until football season is over before attending.

There was north of 10.5K fans at the Moody to watch Coach Vic and the Horns beat up on SC!!! Hope we can show out tonight and support Coach Terry and the team to a much needed victory.  If you're on the 40 acres this evening.....

Oats was realistic like three years ago, maybe. He turned down Kentucky, no chance he comes here.

Bama mods saying the only job he would leave for is kansas

Won't be Oates but a change is coming just believe that. Until then just hold on and try to enjoy. CDC understands what's at stake for the future. Can't waste any more seasons on Terry. Personally like him a lot, but this is business . Couple months and we will have a new direction bet on it!

Is weaver done for the year?

No time table according to RT. Gerry said a couple of weeks last week.

We lost Barnes how did that work out , lost Smart , lost Beard . Now Coach Terry on thin ice . We need to hit a home run on men’s BB . Tired of musical chairs. CDC can make it happen. Long term stability is what we need . I hope Coach Terry can win out . 🏀🙏

Barnes had 17 seasons at Texas and had plateaued/regressed by the end. Shaka had 6 seasons, made the tournament 3 times, and had 1 tournament win. Beard was the guy until he beat his woman and got fired year 1 and CDC made a bad call going to RT. The Beard/Terry circumstance has been unique, but having two total coaches for 23 seasons prior is hardly musical chairs. Change needs to be made regardless

Man, they got bent over so hard it blew out their O-Ring! Tough giving up 103…oh well, turn the page. On to the next!
