  • What a massive win for the Longhorns and Rodney Terry.

  • Give the coach an extension! I kid, of course, but my god, Terry got this team to fight like hell in the second half to beat a ranked team while we were short two key players. And we had doz

  • A&M home of the sixth man.  On the floor.

Ole Miss - Winnable but Beard is out for revenge

LSU- Texas will be favored

Arky- Texas and Arky are both talented but inconsistent and lack “something”

Vandy- Sneaky good

If we go 3-1 here, we will be in a solid spot.

Assuming we go 0-2 vs Bama and UM.

We would be sitting at 17-9

Heading into a manageable part of the schedule where Texas can win the next 5.

19-12 to 22-9 is the sweet spot. Would feel solid more solid at 20-11 though… rather than 19-12

I don't see how we can project probable wins and losses without knowing when Kaluma or Weaver come available.

Down 22 with a short bench in a rugby match and this team gets a win,  That comes from great effort and a coaching staff that has built some belief.  Aggies shot over 50% from three and muscled 14 more rebounds, but the Horns found a way to win.   Kudos for a great come back effort and win,  Showed good character tonight,  Too soon to count them out.

Mark Byington.  He was James Madison's coach for the last 4 years.

I did not have Vanderbilt football & basketball being good our first year in the SEC on my bingo card but here we are.

Terry said after the game that he never wants to put players on the floor when they aren't at full strength and Kaluma is day to day.

I seem to remember Shedrick playing quite a bit while banged up last year, so I'm interpreting Terry's comments to mean he won't put players on the floor at risk of aggravating injuries, but absolute 100% full strength of every muscle group is not a requirement to see action.
