Texas coaches on the road

OnTexasFootball is hearing the Texas staff will be on the road  beginningThursday seeing top 2026 prospects. 

That doesn't mean a singular coach may not be out a day earlier to be clear.

The reason is pretty simple ... January 15 is the last day players can enter the portal and the NFL draft. Plenty of reason to be on campus first half of the week. 

Should we be worried at all about Sark and the Cowboys gig? You guys hearing any CDC rumors?

I'm not worried about Sark and that. But that could always change.

Sark strikes me as the type of guy to go for the natty with Texas after having brought the program back to elite status, rather than let someone else come in & get it done with his roster. I think after he wins a natty then those conversations might get interesting but until then I can’t see him leaving.

I think he would be loyal to Texas. Texas gave him a chance to be a head coach again. I think there some loyalty in that

Plus would sark really bolt on arch manning after he did everything to get him here. That wouldn’t look good for sark 

 I think Sark really loves college football and he knows he's in a good place here at Texas.

Don't see him leaving.

I can't for the life of me see any reason anyone would want to work for JJ.

cowboys already had horrible play calling don’t need more of the same

College football is pretty much 365, 24/7 it seems. Lots of investment has to go into it.
