I hate to get into this but it seems like the only way to get over last night is to move forward. When do you expect we'll hear news about players who entering the draft, coming back, portal in vs portal out and any recruiting news? I suspect some of the decisions need to be made very soon and some will take some time. Thanks for all y'all do, I think I speak for the OTF Nation when I say thank you for all the time and resources you invest to make sure us Longhorns fans get the best info day in and day out. As always, HOOK 'EM 🤘 🤘

A personal note... I had a family member in Hospice care from July to December.

The OTF daily material on YouTube gave me something to take my mind off the bad stuff and to remind me that College Football can serve many purposes.

Bobby and crew are great and much appreciated and enjoyed.

Jan 15th is the deadline for declaring for the NFL draft.

This is correct. I think we’ll start hearing some as soon as tomorrow. Quinn already kind of opened the gate. 

With Sark and his playcalling on the 1, how does this affect recruiting.   By his actions he pretty much said I don't trust my guys to get 1 yard going straight ahead?  What do recruits see here?

Wouldn't call it silly when your coach doesn't trust arguably one of the best offensive line in the country.   Just sayin

I think if Sark had an OL that had proven all year they could get a push in the middle, he’d have run it. He hadn’t.

Recruits see opportunity. Fans made emotional post which are usually silly. Majors and Conners aren’t good run blockers. The Texas was overrated as to running the ball.

Ok with only two teams left, is DL recruiting done? I can't see OSU or ND kids jumping in the portal? Not sure we will see Penn St. Kids jumping in? So who is left? Spring?

If a coach leaves or is fired can a kid jump in? It's about time for coaches to be moving.

before the college season is over, thats stupid NCAA/NFL. no reason not to give them more time and getting evals from NFL after they are done playing. IF they gave them till another 10-12 days, it would change nothing for NCAA. 

I don't think we'll have anymore attrition of the roster, until maybe after Spring? Could be wrong there, but just my two uneducated cents.

If a coach is fired, yes there is a 30 day window, I believe. There could be names in the portal we're not in the know about, but I'd say unless a great option jumps in the portal, you're probably done there until the Spring window and hope you can grab some dudes there. January and Hills will need to come a long big time, too, imo. Missing out on the transfer from UCF was a big hit, imo. Would've been a great grab.
