Richmond Randle also won its first state title on Friday.

Is North Crowley the surprise of the year? I know they have some really good players but the path they took to a state title is very very impressive. And they beat west lake handily.

I’d say so. They took down Duncanville. 

Saw the highlights, North Crowley looked fast fast.

I don't think so. If you paid attention to them at all over the last couple years you could see this coming. All year long everyone knew the season would culminate in a showdown between Duncanville and North Crowley and most that knew both teams felt like that game would be a coin flip.

Was at the Smithson Valley game, it was a great game! SV!! 

The receiver on Crowley, Gibson, going to Colorado is really good. Nice find by Prime. Not a Prime fan but I’ll give credit where credit is due.

North Crowley High are the new kings of the I-20 corridor in DFW.  It was only a matter of time before the talent in south FW found a high school where the facilities, coaching, and resources enabled this kind of success.  North Crowley is a suburban high school with incredible new facilities and large enough to encompass the sprawling growth of south Tarrant county.  
 
Get used to seeing them compete for 6A titles.

Nah not that big of a surprise. They returned a bit from last years really good squad and added a bunch of "move in's" on top of that. They kicked the c rap out of Permian in the 2nd round, looked like our boys were running in slow motion next to them, lol. 

North Crowley has come a long way. When I was playing at Arlington Martin they were the worst team in our district.
