I know it’s so super unlikely but if Sark wants to keep up this QB run package next year and not risk an Arch injury. Or maybe if we miss on an RB, Orji could be interesting.

Orji really should make that transition to RB full time, not unlike his teammate Mullings who turned out to be a stud as a full time RB

I would not pursue Micah Hudson.  And a reminder, Texas prioritized Wingo over him the first time.

I'm waiting on 3-4 DL names to drop in the portal. If they do, Texas will have serious interest.

  • He will take some time to make a decision. In regards to Texas, I bet they kick the tires, but I don't think if they will go all out for him. Look at who Texas has pursued at WR in the portal und

I wonder if he’s considering a position switch? He's shown he’s not capable of completing a forward pass. Seems like a Rochon move to RB would benefit a guy like him or move out to WR/Slot if he has decent hands.

I agree he should switch to RB. That will be his only avenue to the league unless he becomes a special teams guy. So we’ll see where he’s at in regards to his long term football future. Who knows, maybe he leverages it into another degree & some NIL money.

T. Davis and Genesis Smith both from Arizona could get very interesting with Johnny Nansen connections.Texas did 2 transfers from Arizona last year.

It’s  going to interesting to see what the NFL draft evaluation says he needs to work on because he isn’t getting a 1-2 round grade.

I agree. He’d be drafted 5-7 but will play way above his draft grade

Do you think he can improve his draft grade to mid rounds by coming back for 2025?

I don’t know. I kind of think his stock is as high as it is going to be. Look at Jaylen ford. His draft stock may have hurt a little by coming back after an unbelievable year in 22

Go get that dude on campus and pay the man! Feels like a big fish at DT that you can’t let get away.

D. Williams won’t be available until training camp at the earliest, Texas would be smart to get experience safety from the portal regardless what Taaffe does.

Even with him back I think we need another safety.

I don’t disagree. The guy from Arizona with the Nansen connection?

IMO his stock isn’t going to get any higher than what it is this year.

I think Nansen will be a great judge of whether he’s worth bringing in. If we go after him, it means that Nansen thinks he can be a strong contributor. If we don’t, it means there are better options out there.

Genesis Smith is the safety and a ball hawk type

Not much out there right now with DT's, I'm assuming some of the guys, the staff wanted to kick the tires on, haven't jumped in? Haven't really heard much about DT recruiting in the portal.
