I imagine there’s a good reason that Gerry keeps saying not to pursue Hudson. Texas will go after more proven prospects.

We just kicked former 5-star WR Johntay Cook out of the program, so that’s a clue to Sark’s thinking.

 It may be as simple as Sark not seeing the value of lightly productive WR divas whose circle thinks much more highly of them than Sark does.  High school stars are valueless the day a WR steps on campus.

IMO, Hall and the Bama LB (whose name escapes me) were reaches and the staff knew it but were desperate to get talent in the roster. Today, we are not as desperate and can afford to be a bit more picky in the Portal.

probably true. i just don't think they should limit themselves to only getting established veterans. Would be kind of cool to get Micah Hudson and watch him ball out for more than a year.

He’s gone after the season he is having.  Hes likely not a player that will benefit with another year.   He is who he is and will be drafted in the 2nd to 3rd round regardless of production.

Hudson probably is looking for more guaranteed playing time. He’s not guaranteed to be in front of the true freshman coming in.
