If Quinn is not full go, then should Arch be the starter Saturday?  We were already worried about Quinn when he did not have a bad leg going up against the A&M defense.  Now he will really be a sitting target for the A&M pass rush.  Would Arch gives us a better shot to put points on the board?  His deep throws and running ability, paired with the Texas defense should give us the best chance at winning this game.

My thoughts are we need Quinn to start . If we get ahead two TDs Arch may come in . We definitely cannot win without Quinn. Sark is aware of that . So is the team . Quinn is the heart of the team. Hopefully when Arch comes in he will contribute to us winning a natty . The bloodline is there even though none of the Mannings achieved that in college.

I imagine Owen has a bit more WANT to play in this game than previous games as well.

So many declarative statements, said with such confidence.

We also talked with Billy Liucci of TexAgs last night on the Tuesday Livestream – it is not entirely out of the picture for RB Reuben Owens to see some snaps against the Longhorns this weekend.

Owens had previously been declared out for the season after an ankle injury in training camp.

PLEASE be stupid enough to play him 😂😂

Red five has a tendency to MSMBC my statement.😂

I do not agree at all that we “cannot” win without Quinn.

But he has the experience and the rank.

I believe you have the right to believe what you choose. I’ll just say be careful what you wish for.

I’m not wishing for Arch. If Quinn is healthy and he’s on, good for him.

I’m saying there’s nothing to prove that Texas would lose just because Quinn’s ankle can’t hold and Arch comes in.

I’m saying you’re just trying to be adversarial.
Ive been a Longhorn fan a long time . This isn’t my first rodeo.  I’m just expressing my thoughts. I’m a big fan of the entire Manning family. Watched Archie play his first pro game.i just believe we need Quinn’s leadership. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I know we will both be pulling for The Horns. I’ve been pulling for them since the great Steve Worster ran for 856 yards his freshman season in the first year of the Wishbone. It’s a big chance Arch will play . But I believe Quinn needs to start for us to win. Let’s all enjoy the game & Let Sark coach.

Would be something to see Arch do some  zone read against them.  Pass first but implement the wheels

I don't know what that means. I just quoted you.

Of course we can win without Ewers. I'm not even sure at this point he's the best QB on the team. And I certainly don't think he is if he's out there hobbling around.

Let’s just pull for the Horns Red Five what you say let’s let Sark decide which QB gives us the best chance to win . “ Hookem “

The silence and reluctance to discuss the health of Ewers leads me to believe that he is not healthy

Perhaps that is what they want A&M to believe as well.

Gerry Hamilton just said Quinn probably 80-85 percent on College Football Addiction podcast.
Quinn at 85 percent  sounds good to me . But I would prefer to hear it from Sark .

Quinn is not healthy guys lol it's easy to see and read into

Will he be hurt enough or play bad enough due to injury that arch plays? Who knows

Will not know the answer til kick off

Gerry Hamilton just said on a visiting podcast his thoughts were Quinn 80-85 percent healthy. That’s good in my opinion. But I would like to hear it from Sark.

A few more thoughts:

  1. Quinn will start the game.  If he's 80% or better, I dare anyone to try and keep him out.  We can win with QE at 80%
  2. We can absolutely win this game with Arch if QE isn't able to go.  It won't be easy, but he's capable and knows the playbook.
  3. Our defense will keep us in this game even if the O struggles (proven multiple times this year)
  4. The aggies are a good team, but they ain't Georgia.
