Friday morning Kellen Wiley Update

OnTexasFootball was told by a source very close to the recruitment of 4-star linebacker Kellen Wiley (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) that he will be in Gainesville for a visit to Florida this weekend. The family had gone back-and-forth on the plans Thursday.

Texas was attempting to get the 6-3.5, 226-pounder back on campus this weekend.

Texas remains considered the favorite for the Sunshine State senior riser over Florida headed into the weekend - per the source close to the recruitment.

Our fan base is so weak

I hope you are right. But trying to get him back and he goes to Florida on the surface doesn't seem encouraging. But we shall see, after yesterday with Underwood,  I take nobody as a commit anymore until they sign the new documents in a couple of weeks ha !

Us Texas fans will truly not be happy until we win a natty and have the #1 recruiting class lol

We got flips coming AND going guys. Its going to happen lol

We MIGHT lose a game between here and the playoffs (losses happen)

but look around and recognize where we are for the 2nd time in 2 years and then step back and remember that OU's third string QB was once our starter!

be chill guys.

Any recruit that decides to chase NIL over the easy decision of winning AND your development being A1 needs better adult decisions in their corner.

In a few years ESPN will do a 30 for 30 on all of the kids that chased easy money up front, didn’t develop or otherwise succeed, and went bankrupt without any education to fall back on.

The jury is out on napier and he’s awaiting his sentencing. 6-7, 5-7 and now prolly another 5-7 or 6-7 year again. All they have to sale is NIL and “come play with DJ Lagway”

And a lot of their NIL is going to go towards keeping Lagway.

Sounds like Myron Charles had changed his plans, to be in Austin instead! 🤘🏼

If they want to keep him they better add talent around him.
