I am reading rumors that Ewers might return for another year.

Is this a real possibility?

Is there even a way to discuss this this without angering the crowd?

I have a feeling that if he returns another year, it won’t be to Texas. Arch will be our QB next year. 

I love Quinn, but there is no way we sit Arch another year.

He playing for free? There won’t be any NIL for him at Texas.

No. Time to move on to Arch and he can’t transfer to another SEC team. That leaves only a few quality B1G or ACC teams. Plus staying another year would be an admission that this year was a failure. Therefore his NIL income would drop considerably. No more Dr Pepper ads.

This is not true, and if he did return, it want be at Texas.

He was asked in an interview and didn’t answer, saying something like “I’m just focused on the season,” which people have tried to spin into a story that he might return.

I would be surprised. 

If he returns, it won’t be for Texas.

I think it would beneficial for both parties to move forward at this point.

I doubt there is ANY way Sark lets Arch walk.
 

And I think Quinn coming back with a more inexperienced O-line would only hurt Quinn. 

I don't see a world where Arch waits another year to be starter, seeing as he has already shown some serious flashes this season. I also don't see a world where Sark lets Arch walk.

If Quinn wants to come back he will do so via the portal. He is not going to be playing at Texas next season, period.
