Fact #1: In the first seven games of the rivalry, Texas kept the Aggies scoreless while scoring 157 unanswered points. A&M reached 157 points during their 32nd meeting

Fact #2: Texas has scored more points against A&M than any other school in history

 

The Longhorns have scored 2,297 points against the Aggies in their 118 matchups averaging 19.5 points a game, while A&M averages 12.3 points a game against the Longhorns

Fact #3: The most points A&M has ever scored against the Longhorns is 42 points (1985). The Longhorns have scored 42 points or more against the Aggies 14 different times, with their largest score coming in 1977 when they won 57-28.

Fact #5: Rice has a more recent conference championship than A&M

Fact #6: By 1952 the Longhorns had already beaten the Aggies more times than they would ever beat the Longhorns in the rivalry history (38)

Fact #7: A&M has given up 921 points to the Longhorns while only scoring 778 against them. Their record at home is 22-25-2 for a 46.9 win percentage

Fact #8: UTEP has a winning record over only one power 5 team in their history. They have 0 wins over blue bloods, 0 heisman winners, 0 heisman finalists, 0 Division 1 titles and 0 weeks ranked #1

 

But they still have a more recent conference championship than texas A&M

Fact #9: Darrell K. Royal coached the Texas Longhorns from 1957-1976, where he never had a losing season. During his tenure, Texas won 11 conference championships, made 16 bowl appearances and had as many national championships (3) as losses to A&M (3).

Fact #10: Only two A&M head coaches have a winning record over Texas during their tenure. 12 A&M head coaches never saw a single victory over the Longhorns.

Fact #11: Not counting pre-integration stats, Texas has: 34 more wins, 8 more 10 win seasons, 22 more All-Americans, 19 more weeks ranked #1, 8 more top 5 finishes, 7 more top 10 finishes, 5 more conference titles, 5 more bowl wins, 3 more BCS/NY6 wins, 2 more national titles, 5 more heisman winners/runners up
