Just curious what the board thinks about aggy vs lsu last night.

LSU was dominating defensively before aggy switched qb to run zone read which as we know worked well.

The question is did LSU not prepare for zone read possibility at all thinking aggy would not run it due to staying with CW or do they just not have the defensive talent to match up?

Reed's season has not proven he is ready to be a complete qb or he would have started.

Thoughts?

Nussmeier has not been too great away from Death Valley. That showed last night. Board members saying they’d rather have him than Quinn are silly and short sighted.

LSU’s coverage busts and front 7 that lacked size and speed made it easy for Reed.

A&M played well post-Weigman benching, but this LSU team is very similar to Mizzou’s squad. Both teams have playmakers, solid QBs that tend to struggle away from home, and defenses that don’t seem to live up to the SEC standard.

I think it was two fold, Nussmeier fell apart with three 2H INTs, and the swtich to Reed was something the LSU coaching staff was not prepared for at all. It's time to consider that LSU is not a well coached team at all and Brian Kelly made a big mistake leaving ND for a real conference in the SEC.

The thing that worries me the most, LSU's OL was destroyed by aggy's simulated pressure looks. Our OL has also struggled with those looks as well. Flood really needs this next two weeks to clean up the communication.

Kelly completely abandoned the run in the second half.  Nussmeier didn't have a chance.

Nuss sucked second half, Brian Kelly and Co. failed to account for Reed.

PK and Nansen will account for both when it comes time. Right now we’ve got 3 games ahead of us that need to be played before we get ready for it.

Never been a fan of LSUs coach. He had the talent to adjust when the other quarterback came in, but he never adjusted. A&M can apply pressure which is concerning to me.

we could lose both games vs aggy and arky if we don't fix our offense.

i'm not as confident as others.  hope to be proven wrong.

That's all I could think about as well as I was watching.  Also, watching Ole MIss' DT's sach OU like 15 times as well up the middle.

I think LSU was clearly unprepared for the zone read AND how well Reed ran it.

It was a combo.
