ESPN now has OL Cameron Williams going in first round, along with two others

If I'm Quinn I don't want to go first round, you always end up in crappy teams and get thrown in the deep end no matter if you can swim or not. 2nd round qbs actually are allowed to learn before playing.

I'd agree with that if Quinn was projected top 10. But if you're taken in that 20-32 range in the 1st round you're most likely getting drafted to a playoff caliber team.

Yep. Quinn needs at least one year of development where his body can heal completely and clean up his mechanics. If he steps into that throw to Bond it's a TD and OU probably doesn't ever score.

New York giants first round 7 th pick 3rd qb off the board behind Sanders & Ward .

Cam Williams, Gunnar Helm and Vernon Broughton continue to be the poster boys of development among this 2024 team

Development. Exposure. Big boy football.

Recruits, come play for Sark at Texas and the sky is the limit.

Quin better ball out in Georgia game and have a good second half of the season. I think injury history will give SOME teams pause. It only takes one team though.

All that is wiped away with 1 or 2 throws at pro day lol.

@Bobby Burton, @Gerry Hamilton, what happens if Quinn is projected late 2nd or early 3rd and he tells Texas he wants to come back for his senior year?

They tell him people in Hell want ice water?

I'll bet there was an "understanding" about just that thing.

That’s a silly hypothetical that won’t happen .

That’s not going to happen. This is his last collegiate season, period.

I disagree. Quinn is very good but he's not a great QB. He's not consistent and he is too plagued by injuries to go first round. Look at his history. Every time he gets truly hot, he gets hurt and is out. Then he doesn't fully come back. I do believe he goes early second round.

NFL teams are starved for starting QB talent and they take bad prospects in the first round.  Quinn will be a first round pick.

There are about 2-3 very good but not great quarterbacks taken in the 1st round every year these days

This nonsense needs to stop. Quinn is very obviously a 1st round guy. Sure the NFL does love to reach on athletic big guys with arms but what quinn does is special and his arm is unreal. His injury history and suboptimal frame are a downside but his release, field vision and arm talent are to good to pass up.

I dont know if he goes 1st overall but you cant tell me he slips to the 2nd in the modern nfl draft environment.
