I assume the previous coach was preventing this and why?

I guess it’s a percentage deal, knowing MLB will take a certain % . Sign a lot of top players and just hope to field a few difference makers. I like it.

Yes, but I think NIL will affect the signing curve.  If the colleges would go back to wood bats, then I think kids would prefer college to A ball/rookie ball.  The signing season will be interesting.

I don’t know how long it is going to be. I don’t think it’ll be too long at all, but we’re going to win another Natty at Texas. And maybe more than one. We’re about to start making deep runs like soon. Hiring Schloss and his staff was beyond a home run for CDC.

Agree with this sentiment, but I can't get on board with the terminolgy.  Dump the Natty!  🤣

Some of the reports list him at 6'3".  There is a picture from his Texas visit with his family and his dad must be 6'6" at least.  He may grow into that.

The recruiting just wasn’t there for a couple of reasons. Staff turnover, NIL, etc. 

One day we can dig deeper into it.

I assume that Nolan Cain is huge for upping our NIL game. He seemed to do wonders at LSU and A&M.

100% spot on. The addition of Cain and Bishop were HUGE imo.
