Hill and Simmons, like all young players, are still learning the breadth of their respective positions, even while they can be spectacular at certain aspects. That’s when coaching, development, and scheme come into play. 
 

If we spy Hawkins, we should probably use someone who can really excel at that task without taking away Hill’s game. There are probably 5-6 guys who could do it. Coaches have to pick their scheme and put the players in the right spots. 
 

But these two young guys have to learn from the film and recognize that tactics have to change when the QB is a real run threat. Or someone else has to have responsibility for the QB run. 

Texas players need to change the narrative in this series. Right now OU knows they can win, Texas hopes to win. They need to come out and punch OU in the mouth right away.
