Men’s Dance Chances?

Featured Replies

6 regular season left, probably favored solidly in 2, one tossup and 3…well. Tuesday is Iowa State at home, feels like a must win. If not, 2-4 and ending 17-11, 6-9 conference is a bubble popper. So must win Tuesday, amirite?

9 games left in regular season conference, then the B12 tourney.

Beat ISU on Tuesday and that’s wins against five Quad 1 wins, four of those against ranked teams, and two of three of those on the road.

My goal is to see us go 9-9 in conference (20-11 overall), and remain in the KenPom top 25-35.  That’ll make the Big Dance.

Texas is up to No. 32 in NCAA NET

firmly in right now after Saturday IMO. Multiple Quad 1 road wins

Remainder of the Big 12 schedule is very tough.

IF Texas get next two at home, including Quad 1 Iowa State … they will be in a quality spot.

Big 12 is so tough that game under .500 can get a team in this year IMO

Weaver changed everything when he moved to starter. Love watching him play.

He brings such an extra chunk of energy. Unlike Cunningham, he plays within control and isn't a guaranteed five fouls each night.

For sure. Different player and younger, but had the Sir’Jabari Rice and Roschon Johnson traits … guys like that impact winning so much no matter what the box score reads

Weaver with the bigger guards coming in next year will give Texas a much different look in the backcourt
