I chatted a bit with Michael Terry III after the big win over UTSA.

His immediate reaction to the game:

“It was definitely like no other (game), the atmosphere was crazy and everyone was hyped.”

Terry is headed to a buddy’s lake house to enjoy the rest of the weekend. 

One Texas source indicated a lot of confidence after tonight in the hunt for the five star athlete.

Yes but not normally after 6pm kicks because of the live shows and travel for kids. Will grab some tomorrow.

It’s why the kid profiles to UT.  Upper middle class kids understand the value proposition that UT has.   It is often difficult to explain it to somebody who lives in Lufkin.

I’ve had my fingers crossed since January when I saw MTIII’s HUDL that he’d be in the class. Guys with his size/speed combo don’t grow on trees. I think he’d be hellacious OLB/Star but I also think he could be a bigger body version of Deebo for Sark if he’s starting on offense. The ability to leave Terry on the field and motion him anywhere from the backfield to TE to split wide is a hell of a cheat code.

Only my guess from watching the UGA boards but I’d expect him to land there. They have his degree program, rumored to be pushing for him and Athens is right down the road.
