Go back and watch some more of Colin Simmons off of the edge against Michigan from this past week.

He was tremendous in just 21 snaps and 16 pass rush attempts.

 

 

 

I mentioned Michigan RT Evan Link was the guy Texas could have success against.

Link allowed a sack to Simmons and 10 total pressures on the afternoon. Five of which to Simmons alone.

Also a 0.0 pass block grade per PFF.

Never seen that before.

I was saying this in the game thread, Colin Simmons get off at the snap is elite. He doesn’t even have a bag yet when it comes to pass rushing but he will get his this year just off his elite traits.

It makes sense to hear about the Micah Parsons comps this early because of it. Now Simmons will need to add to his bag of tricks, but a heck of a start thus far.

At this point I'm just glad the 5 stars we do get are put in position to make 5 star plays. We all know that hasn't necessarily be the case over the lost decade

Trey moore’s ice pick spin move is sooo damn nasty and affective. 

That game against North Shore when Simmons was a junior was the best game I have ever seen a high school player play.  

I kept saying we have got to get this guy.  

I think he ranks right there with Arch as 1 of the 2 most important recruits Sark has signed.
