For those who missed it, former NFL QB Teddy Bridgewater has been named the new HC at his HS Alma Mater, Miami Northwestern.

I remember people mentioning that Teddy and his success at Louisville was one of the reasons that Charlie Strong was hired at UT. Does anyone know if that was true or was it just some urban myth?

For sure helped Charlie be in the position to win enough games to get a Texas level job. Urban Meyer not recruiting Bridgewater, and as a QB, plus the change at Miami opened the door for Charlie to get Teddy B. at Louisville. It's definitely ascended the success level for Strong at Louisville.

Still find it hard to believe Bo Davis missed out on so many top DLs over the last two years.

Putting 4 outta 4 interior DLs guys in the league and we still have backup DLs targets decommitting or putting Texas at #3,4.  Not what I would have guessed at Interior DL after the last two years.
