Reportedly FL cannot afford to buy him out.

Norvell just got a huge extension after last year.

He made a bad portal pick at QB after Cam Ward went to Miami

Got to make a change.

And the FSU D has fallen off way more than expected

Norvell signed an eight year extension in January.  Napier’s buyout currently is $28.3M.

Misspelled Norvell

Norvell isn't going anywhere, but QB1 likely won't remain the same regardless that DJ is the only QB on the roster with actual experience. Brock Glenn had very limited time last year after Jordan Travis' injury. Crazy to think how much praise and hype DJ got in high school after taking over QB1 from the other kid, Re-Al Mitchell, who was a reason St. John Bosco was a top team in the country.

I have a hard time believing UF can't buy Napier out.  It's just a negotiating strategy for the donors scheming to buy him out.   Same for Norvell.

In another world, Maalik Murphy is the quarterback for the #10 team in the country now.

This is why Texas fans need to allow the season to play out for recruiting.

I also read that. It would take some BMD to provide the $$ for a buyout 

 

If Florida tanks as badly as expected, donors will find a way to buy Napier out. Don't worry about.

They may also find a way to make a change at AD if he doesn't do it sooner rather than later.
