Texas Defensive Coordinator and Outside Linebackers Coach Pete Kwiatkowski is in Illinois to continue the theme of Texas coaches hitting the road.

Kwiatkowski stopped by Fenwick High School this morning to check in on a relatively new name – DL Nathaniel Marshall.

Marshall is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound outside linebacker prospect who has earned offers now from 26 programs nationally.

Marshall also ranks inside the top 30 nationally with a five-star rating boasted on the 247Composite rankings.

Sounds like he could end up at edge if that frame fills out.  I’m pumped to see Sark and staff branching out to go get some of the best. In state recruiting is important but I never understood Mack not branching out of state when he could.

Fenwick is a private Catholic high school powerhouse football program in Chicago.  Love seeing the Texas coaching staff visiting elite prospects.

This is something I didn't expect to see. We have been hitting the deep south, California / Az, even a little NE, but Illinois was off my radar.  This staff seems to work it all.
