Notable DL decommitment

Featured Replies

Sounds like it’s a flip to Georgia Tech. Β UGA fans saying the recruit is being processed to make room for Justus Terry and the other 5-star DL leaning UGA’s way (E.Griffin).

Assuming so, maybe this opens the door for Texas with Hanne (should UGA land another two 5-star DTs in the coming days and weeks)?

Must be nice to have such strong DL recruitingΒ

Georgia Tech is coming to play for the blue chippers in 2025!

not like we are lighting it up in DT recruiting.Β Β

With a DT coach that doesn't have a deep resume or connections what was to be expected. That's not on him totally. He has a chance to develop and build relationships , but takes time.

Unless we start opening the NIL vault to help it won't be great.DT is not a position to experiment with your 3rd or 4th choice for a coach. Yet here we are. A good DT year, up NIL and we might salvage some guys we need . I wish him well, but will never believe he was the best we could get period.Β

Texas was never getting Christian Garrett. Β There’s a reason why fans aren’t in charge of recruiting; which means some wouldn’t have been patient enough to get Banks, Campbell, Williams, Hill, Mack, Filasame, and other flips/commits later in recruiting cycles.
