Former Longhorn tennis star Lulu Sun has seen her Wimbledon run come to an end.

A 7–5, 4–6, 1–6 loss to Donna Vekic concludes what had been a special run for the former Longhorn across the pond. Sun will return home with a quarterfinal appearance in this year's Wimbledon tournament, where she had previously not won a single match in any major tennis tournament.

Future is bright!

    Vekic sits 37th.

    Should raise her ranking to the 85-100 range

    Big Alcaraz fan but torn because an American hasn’t won a Grand Slam since Roddick at the 2003 US Open so wouldn’t mind seeing Paul breakthrough
