Would you think that a lot of the disappointment with recruiting to this point be expectation bias because of the success relative to previos seasons? Trip to the CFP?

Seems this has been a reoccurring theme for several prospects in the last few cycles, very odd and not something you’d expect. 

We didn't hear anything negative at the time that I can remember. Seems Pettijohn got bent out of shape about the Longhorns going for Faraimo, which doesn't make too much sense. Faraimo is a middle backer and Pettijohn is outside. If it's true that there was some primadonna stuff going on, then so be it. Seems to me there's quite a bit of hyperbole about getting this or that high rated recruit. Yes, you want the best; but you don't necessarily need guys who want special treatment.

Not sure why Pettitjohn would be upset about faraimo. They play different spots at LB.
