Add another one to the list for Texas baseball, as the Longhorns have grabbed a commitment from Thomas Burns of Arizona State. 

The freshman right handed pitcher dealt 39 strikeouts in just 30.1 innings of play, holding his opponents to a .213 average at the plate. 

He finished the year with a 4.75 ERA. 

FYI I’m expecting at least two more big time pitchers to transfer to Texas.

ECU and/or Long Beach pitchers?

Glad we kept the most essential coaches. Not sure how much was lost with Early if anything at all but keeping Weiner was huge.

Any word on any of the a&m bats coming our way? 

Has the tools for Maximum Weiner to work with.

I think we upgraded getting Tulo back.  

Are these transfers indicative of a change in NIL strategy because of Coach Schloss, or are these guys (or comparable players) transferring here just normal expected offseason turnover?

Probably some of both. Schloss will help with getting baseball NIL much more active, plus he likes to use the portal. Pierce wasn't too fond of NIL or the portal.

Fryman was initially committed to a&m. Supposedly has a good bat too. He’s from North Texas, maybe he’s homesick

NIL was very good and active under Pierce, except Pierce used NIL like juice boxes and Sally’s cookies….everybody gets some
