Brew feels like he was looking for a reason NOT to come to Texas.

Out of all our high profile targets when are we going to land one. DK was the only one I truly felt really good about… not so much.

The reality is NIl is a major component in a lot of the super blue recruitments.  It has become a lot less about the school, the coaches etc.  We have good NIL, but schools like Ohio State and Oregon have shown they will pay above what other schools are paying.

You understand that NIL is not coming from the school.  

Never felt that he was coming here, but was holding out hope he would surprise me.  Well he did.  He picked Oregon instead of OSU or LSU. 
 

what happen with us and Sanchez?  One moment he liked us then the last year or so we completely fell off.  

Oregon doing nasty work, and Sark will flip his. I’m looking at Devin Sanchez down the line, and look for Brew to flip to Ohio State.
