White with a strategic blunder starting the freshman.  Mac is the more confident of the 2 in tight situations.  Game was over after the first half inning.  You can't give that crowd anything to get up about.

I don’t agree she was killing for like 4 games in a row I can’t blame him for starting the hot hand will somewhat agree she stayed in longer then she should have

My issue isn't that Kavan started.  I have a huge issue that she was in the circle for the third HR.  She should have been gone after the second HR.  Mac was already warm.  Every ball they hit that inning was barreled.

Also, Vivi was no help on the single up the middle before that second HR.

Kavan only killed for the two games against Stanford, a decent team that is a mediocre one without Canady.  She was not good against A$M in the Super.  

Against A$M (6 IP across parts of games 2, 3)

6 IP, 9H 8R 7 ER, 5 BB, 7K

She was mediocre in the Super Regional.  None of the pitchers were great coming into the WCWS, but Kavan wasn't solid for 4 games in a row.  Morgan was the WP in both of the wins over A$M in the Super.

Prob went with Kavan cause ou batters hadn't faced her yet this season.  Really more an issue with the bats, they tend to go ice cold.  Only the Florida game was a breakout.

Kavan started and pitched 3.1 innings against OU on 4/7.  She left behind 1-0 and was replaced by Estelle Czech.  Czech pitched the last 3.2 and got the win.  A 2-run HR off of Maxwell by Katie Stewart was the game winner.
