Transfer Rule Finalized

Featured Replies

College football sure has started changing a lot, But I’m not sure if it’s for the best or worse. I know without NIL or the transfer portal i am not sure if we would be “back” like we are now.

Would love to see the numbers on players with multiple transfers.  Can't think of many that have worked out (but hoping it works out for Big Bill).

Will also be interesting how scholarship/roster limits affect the transfer portal.  Does the portal become even more important?

The NCAA agreed to permanently change its transfer rules and allow multiple transfers without an athlete having to sit out one season upon the second transfer.

This was expected. Not a major rule change IMO.

Will conferences be able to prevent transfers within conference schools?

Worried about basketball and baseball as well.

RaeQuan Battle at West Virginia had to go to court last year for a second transfer. Court sided with him. NCAA knows it was going to be taken out of their hands anyway.
