Does UT educate its athletes about smart investing and budgeting with the rise of NIL so they don't end up like so many previous athletes?

I would imagine something like that is available to them. 

I hope that they make it a mandatory thing to receive T1 funds or other NIL deals to set them up for future success.  I can only speculate but I would think there are quite a few successful business men and women there for mentorship opportunities.

Yes. The university has a program adjacent to the athletic department for the players.
