well good save the NIl for lineman in portal and a proven wr in portal 

Hoped for 2 5 star HS recruits in Sales and Royal...as of now 1 in the boat, but likely flipping so probably none.  Texas will have a boatload of excess cash with Cam, Wingo, Arch, Simmons, and Goosby highly likely to go pro, so they will be able to keep the players on this roster that they want.  With Sark and friends they will probably turn lemons into lemonade and find a gem none of us thought Texas had interest in.

If they are announcing, they are not committed. That is why i wanted us to get Sales so bad, it was pretty well clear LSU.

 

Or he could be closing it down and announcing that he's locked into Texas. 

Throw some of Royal’s money at Sales…0-2 is going to sting.

Announcing that he’s flipping to free up money for Texas to go big in the portal and continue to build their trenches with a flip from DJ Jacobs.

Guys, do not presume anything one way or the other.

There have been those who have announced they were shutting it down and those who have said they are flipping.

He’s clearly been torn on this for a while.

Let him make his decision (or announce it) and don’t presuppose either way right now. We’ll keep you updated as appropriate.

Whatever he announces, Texas will be just fine either way 🤘🏻

FWIW, Greedy James setting a "commitment date" was different in that he told Texas he was flipping to LSU ahead of time. Royal is not talking to coaches. 

Everything in this post we made last week still stands imo.

Who would bet even money he’s coming to Texas?

I don’t know where he’s going but and I wouldn’t bet either way. 

The great Josh couldn’t get osu past iu and didn’t play great against us. I should probably care more about the annually designated generational wr but I just can’t. We should move on. Even if he chooses us, it doesn’t change my perspective. Our culture has gotten lucky on some of our misses. Pick a team and move on. This is for any position though it seems to often be wrs.

This is last year’s once a decade player’s results.

This isn’t being genuine. Moore missed all of November and was very limited in playoffs

I always wait until they actually sign. With the men’s basketball team I wait until they attend a class. 
 

I still don’t think July 29th will matter as much as how the regular season plays out.  If Wingo and Coleman put up monster numbers it will help the pitch more than all recruiting podcaster message board grinding and gnashing of teeth. 

He’s already committed what does he need to announce!
