You mean the same way people spent months convincing themselves Evan Stewart and Dakorian Moore were secretly coming back to the good guys right up until signing day? At some point it stops being “keep battling” and starts being a support group for recruiting denial. If Royal flips, hanging onto hope and a prayer isn’t a strategy, it’s just delusional cope.

I hear you but things change. First it hasn't happened yet. But absolutely stay in the mix if you can. But I understand your sentiment for sure.
