January 4, 2006 : who was there?

Featured Replies

I was there!  Right above Gameday and Lee Corso putting on the Longhorn.  What a game to be at live!

How many of you were there?

I was in Pasadena and tailgated. My brother was the only one with a ticket so my parents and I watched with the Texas exes at the Hooters lol.

I was there. We hung out at my sister’s RV all day drinking beer. When we entered the stadium, I was told the ticket I had bought the night before was a fake. I was the last of our group at the gate, and a security guard tried to lead me to an exit point. I played dumb and random waved at the crowd, saying I have to let my sister know I’m not with her. Eventually, the guy checking tickets yelled “Got another one” and the security guard turned his back on me. I fast walked into the crowd, managed to find my group, and saw the greatest college game of all time live. 🤘🏻

Best sporting event I ever attended.

I was there, I never have to worry about missing another type of sporting event live.

Because I've already been to the best college football game of all time and watched my favorite team win it all.

I can never beat that sports moment.

Tailgate with a bunch really cool fun USC fans.

Tailgating was great.  USC fans were very cordial.  They were expecting a win but the ones I met thought it would be close.

we’re we’re 20 rows straight up in front of Corso and gameday … was awesome!

10000 times better than the OHio State game that year in and out with fans!  High Street was NUTZ!!  Game was awesome !!

So jealous! If there was any sporting even in history I could attend it would be that game. If Texas makes the natty this year, ticket prices in Vegas will be insane🙃. Already saving up for that trip just in case🤘

I was there. Opposite end zone from the VY end zone. After the win I was in shock more than anything. It took a while for me to get into celebration mode. I still have my ticket, shirt, and hoodie i bought at the stadium. I stayed in a Malibu mansion that weekend, but that's a story for a different time. 😁

I was fortunate to be there the prior year for the Michigan game as well. It was a hell of a run. 🤘🏼
