Alabama portal tight end Amari Niblack has made it official, he will be joining the Texas Longhorns for the 2024 season. Niblack arrived for a visit in Austin early Thursday afternoon and it did not take long for the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder to join the boat and commit to Steve Sarkisian's Texas program. During the 2023 season, Niblack caught 20 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns, including a 39-yarder against the Longhorns. Sark continues the trend of adding explosive speed via the portal this offseason with Niblack as the most recent example. Replacing Ja'Tavion Sanders will be no easy task, but the Longhorns will now be working with two veteran pieces in Niblack and Gunnar Helm in 2024.
