Well, considering that you've posted that nobody but Mike White liked Earlywine, he doesn't always hire well.  Sounds like they succeeded this year despite the groundswell of hatred for the guy amongst the players and staff.

I'd look at minor league baseball hitting coaches. A top college softball program like Texas could be a career upgrade.

Some loose ends need tying up here.
