100 Days Until Kickoff: What Excites You The Most?

We are officially 100 days away from Texas football.

Since there obviously isn’t a No. 100 walking around on past Texas rosters or this year’s roster, we’re using today as the official kickoff point for the countdown.

Starting tomorrow, we’ll begin counting down from 99 all the way to 0 by taking a look at some of the best and most interesting Longhorns to ever wear the number that matches the day.

Some days will be obvious. Some will spark debate. Some will bring back names you haven’t thought about in years. And some will be a chance to learn a little more Texas football history along the way.

The season is getting closer.

100 days out.

Let the countdown begin.

And as we draw closer and closer to the season, I must ask.... what excites you the most about this year? Is there a certain player or position group? Maybe a coach or a certain game?

I'm excited to see if Arch picks up where he left off. If he plays like he did the last half of the season, specifically Michigan, watch out! Hook Em! Graphic is insane by the way. It makes me want to run through a wall, Blake!

I love the fact that we are 100 days till kickoff and in single digits for how many days since blake was muted.

Thank you!

Looking forward to making at least 10 games this year and of course all playoff games if it happens. I am always excited about tailgating at all home game.

I’m 22 years old and can’t remember any team since I’ve been old enough to know what’s happening that has this much talent and star power and all of it is in key positions. QB, WR, Edge, LT and more. Just can’t wait to see it on the field and hopefully they can mesh it all together and play as a group

My favorite countdown, thanks Blake! Most excited for the schedule, lot of cool road trips and big brands. Player wise, I would love to see what a fully healthy Colton Vasek can do and for an already proven player, Lance Jackson in year 2. Let's Go!

I’m excited to see the young guys grow up even more since they came in, see how the run game will go and how Sark & Muschamp play off each other

Very little excitement when there is this much expected. Mostly fear, dread, and anxiety.

I remember 2008 being an absolute ball. 2009 was a slog of a season with very little upside. I anticipate this season feeling more like 2009.

Cheers!

That's what it is for me too. If Arch starts this season the way he finished the year and plays at a level consistent to that all season, Texas will win it all.

I’m excited for the speed and physicality of this team. I can’t even remember the last time we had a roster with this level of elite speed and the potential to be an extremely physical team.

Excited to see the team come together and play as a team. Last year it did not seem like they played that way until the last few games of the year.

Hoping to see it from start to finish this year.  Arch getting the ball to his playmakers (Coleman, Wingo and Mosley) Running backs finding the holes the oline has created and making people miss in open field.  Defense attacking and causing havoc.

If the above takes place, think we will be in for a fun and memorable season.

Inject it in my veins!! Let’s goooooo!

EVER Y THAAAAAANG! I am excited to see what our defense looks like under a more aggressive coordinator, what cam coleman can do running more than go’s and comeback’s with a legit QB and if all the hype jermaine bishop is getting is just talk or he is legit.
