In other words, “I don’t need to see your school—just submit the highest bid if you want me to come.”

"I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all the coaches and programs who have invited me to take an Official Visit this summer, as well as the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to make these visits so special for players and their families.

That being said, I have decided not to take any Official Visits this summer. The personal challenge I set for myself two years ago (when I got here) completing high school in just 2.5 years to early enroll in 2027 demands my full commitment. I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made in these two years. As a team captain, i got to be here for my teammates during summer workouts. This is my final season last year was my first on varsity, and we fell short. This year, we’re determined not to let that happen. That’s another reason why I need to stay focused and put everything I have into this sh*t. #ArmyofBuckeyes"

Checking to see if Camara will take any unofficials this summer.

I asked a source close to the recruitment if summer unofficials were possible despite no plans for summer OVs.

"All we have is Sundays… so no OVs.  Anything unofficial will likely be just him trying to maintain sanity."

This is a straight NIL recruitment anyways.

He’s been to every school unofficially

Is he a walk in starter? I’d pass on high NIL offensive lineman if they aren’t kelvin banks level.

Heck, he is just an insanely talented kid at that size….but unproven as can be for day 1 starter money…  Paying up for Mark Matthews makes way more sense than this chase with no end in sight!

Even if he’s gonna just go with the highest bidder, you’d think he’d let each school wine and dine him. I would have a tough time turning down free Texas BBQ.

Idk if i’ve ever seen @Gerry Hamilton not like a recruit that Texas actually wants 🤣🤣🤣 I get it though reminds me of Felix Ojo.

Gerry never turned down a chance to let us know Ojo was waaaay over ranked by the industry last year.

This guy isn't though.

He’s a great player. But what if he doesn’t get the playing time he wants year 1 then portals for the next highest bidder? This recruitment is tricky to me.

Serious question for y’all - in today’s NIL world, what kind of money do you think Texas legend Steve McMichael would’ve pulled down? With his game, his personality, and that larger‑than‑life presence, would Mongo have been a seven‑figure NIL guy?

It’s admirable that he is going this route if he truly is working school and his craft as he is portraying as officials aren’t really necessary if you do your due diligence on UOVs. My officials were just an excuse to party at different colleges after you do the first day of going through the mandated protocols, granted, I wasn’t in football, so it’s probably much different.
