Do You Still Consider Nebraska a Blue Blood?

I’m not even sure I consider OU a blue blood anymore, so no.

Take off the brunt orange glasses. OU is definitely a blue blood

Read my follow-up post. They clearly are a blue blood program based on overall resume, but at what point does their downward trajectory kick them out of the club? OU will be competitive going forward, but they are never going to be a dominant force in college football again unless something drastic changes like pooling revenues.

Funny, once tom Osborne threw his tantrum and Nebraska bolted for the big 10 they lost their recruiting in Texas. How’d that work out?

Not good. Not good at all.

Osborne had a better recruiting in Texas when Nebraska was in the Big 8 not the Big 12. The Big 12 was the beginning of the end and Big 10 closed the door.

Winner. But I would also put Kansas with that stupid bird up there.  And I know I will take some shots for this very unpopular opinion, but I have always thought the LSU helmet is highly overrated. It just feels like too much with them spelling out "Louisiana State University" and having the tiger. I like the uniform in general, but I've never thought the helmet looked good.

Nebraska hasn’t been relevant since they lost at home to Garret Gilbert and his 48 passing yards. They haven’t had blue blood status this century.
