Disaster weekend and we unfortunately never got a shot at Georgia with the scheduling this year. This team hasn't quite cut the mustard all year for a championship level squad regardless. Too many holes and they don't do anything particularly well. Last year's team was clutch with timely hits in low scoring games despite the thin roster.

This is the fourth start in the last six for Riojas in which he's been charged with at least four earned runs.

A three-up, three-down frame for Ruger.

Texas didn’t just struggle on the mound - the rotation got bullied in Knoxville. Tennessee teed off like it was batting practice.

Pack went upstairs and took a high fastball out of the yard to the right-field power alley. The third home run of the game puts the Longhorns on top, 5-4.

At least it looks like the sticks are awake today. 

Pack dents the scoreboard in RF for a homer and Becerra follows up with a one hop double off the wall. 

Brown can't make a diving catch on Becerra's ball to left. It's a double, putting a runner in scoring position for A-Rod.

A sinking liner by A-Rod falls into center for a hit. It's first and third with no outs for Borba.

 

Becerra comes home on a SAC fly to right by Borba. It's a 6-4 lead for the Longhorns.

Mendoza fouls out and Gumbo grounds into a 6-4 fielder's choice to end the inning.

It was a two-run, three-hit frame for the Longhorns with one left on base.
