I’m 10-2 or 9-3 because of the schedule

Ohio state loss till you prove it

maybe Florida again after OU

torn on the LSU game as well

just my opinion

If we play for a national championship, let alone win one, this will be one of the greatest college football teams ever. Not just Texas teams, any team. I don’t know of that is where we are in this portal/3 and done draft era. But I’m here for the ride. I’m taking 11-1. Cause I can.  🤘🏼

Beating Ohio st week 1 would go a looong way.

Week 2 but yes.  That game will set the tone for the entire season.  I think they go 11-1 w a loss to LSU if they beat Ohio State and 9-3 with losses to Ohio State, Mississippi, and LSU if they don’t and miss the CFP again.

I’m 12-0 or 11-1. I think this team might do something flat out incredible. 2019 LSU like. Just to pick one I’m saying 12-0 and all the Arch hype that we’ve heard is validated. We shall see 🤘🏻

Eight straight SEC games without a bye and the Aggies on a short week is no joke. That's a brutal schedule. Texas could be a much better team than it was last season and still go 9-3 (even though I think 10-2 or 11-1 is more likely).

Btw Jeff you are now the Aggie lover over Gerry our war has just begun

Predicting A&M over the Longhorns is blasphemy. Should never leave a Texas Longhorns mouth… regardless of your feels. Just one of those things… SMDH.

So many games with high-quality opponents are decided by the smallest factor, it would be a VERY good season at 10-2 with this schedule.  I've looked at it all, tried to sort out trap games, other SEC opponents that have improved over last year, some that have regressed, potential injuries and impacts, etc.

Decided it was way too hard to do all that, so landed on 12-0.  You heard it here first.  We go undefeated on our way to the Natty.  Arch will be anointed as the GOAT QB at Texas.  Flood will get an extension and JZ will have a meltdown after our greatest season since 2005.

1st, I’ve been saying 16 -0 since it was possible. Other years I have been wrong, but this year I will be right.

OU is not terrible. We haven’t exactly lit it up against their D. Weird stuff always happens in that game. Venables is going to be desperate to win, which is sometimes how you get severe underdogs pulling the upset against the superior team. I think OU will be better on offense this year. We’d better be ready to go in that game because OU will definitely bring the aggression this year.

Yes, and three out of the last 4 games are on the road.

They will be average. At best. BV is terrible

10-2 would be an incredible disappointment this season. They need to go 11-1 and win the SEC championship at minimum. Based on the investment they have made this offseason.

I’m with you I see potentially 3-4 losses right now with all the though away games plus having beaten OU and TAMU 2 years in a row I don’t see that happening again TBH. However, I am much more confident going into this year than last year with our experience and Muschamp’s agressive D and SEC familiarity I’m saying 10-2 with losses to TAMU and LSU. We still play for the SEC championship and beat UGA. We play ND for the natty and beat them like they stole something.
