Literally one terrible inning from Thomas Burns from a dominant sweep.

Nice response by the guys after the Friday night game. I saw Winter was out this weekend curious how they attack Tuesday. I wouldn't mind seeing Grubbs get the start to see if he can work some things out. We need that guy who can bridge a tight game to the ninth. Cozart looks like he might be able to do that. Would be nice to have another multi inning guy back there.

Sat too long in the B8, unfortunately.

it happens.

I thought the same thing especially with Burns who right now the second inning of relief has been his kryptonite

Yes, I think we have seen the pitching roles for the rest of the season, barring injury.

Now who is the Tuesday night starter(s)?

Power just went out at the Disch. Jeff will resume when he can.

While yall have been going back and forth in this thread, I’ve been deep diving into approach at the plate analytics…. And it’s been incredible. Looking forward to next Friday’s baseball article and, if you’re a baseball nerd, you’ll enjoy it.

Can’t wait for this. I’ve heard a lot of criticism about our players not swinging at first pitch strikes and leaving the bat on the shoulder in other situations. Hopefully the analytics back up my opinion that seeing pitches and going deeper in counts is working well for this team.

Like I said after the unfortunate loss Friday. We’ll see what these guys are made of. They definitely showed up and showed out this weekend! 4 total runs allowed after a bad 9th on Friday. Love it, can’t wait to see them really grow in confidence as conference play goes on and they continue to have success against quality opponents!

Caught the last few innings after church but looked like a great game today. Way to bounce back and take the series.

Spoiler: it is.
