Pittsnogle was an absolute monster.  I was a big Boston College fan before attending Texas and miss Big East basketball so much.

Those Pitt teams were physical.  Levance Fields was a classic NYC point guard that was tough as nails.

Easy work ... because he ripped Texas too

"White Chocolate" in college

Doing that all in a 55 jersey just makes it so much better.

JJ Redick at Duke was unreal. I remember him lighting up the Horns for 40. Always tried to mimic his jumper and free throw routine while shooting around at 24 hour fitness back in the day

Old old timers might remember this one - Darryl Dawkins v Maurice Lucas fighting in the 1977 NBA Finals.  Two BAMF - Dawkins was bigger but Lucas had a reputation of the toughest guy in the league.  That was a scary fight when those two starting throwing punches.

Sixers (Julius Erving was their star) won the game to go ahead 2-0 in the series, then Portland, led by Bill Walton, swept the next four to take the championship.

Oh Redick for sure.  Although I think he’s less random.  I’d consider him an iconic college basketball player.

Hahaha they squared up like it was a hockey fight

I was a dorm mate of Michael Cooper, undergrad at UNM. He was so poor he couldn't afford to take his girl out for a date, yet made millions for the university.  So glad he was a baller with the Lakers. He's a great guy. NIL helps.

maybe my favorite college bball gif.  The older guy standing up at the end to tell him off is so perfect.

Blair played a long time in the NBA with no ACL in either knee

As a Spurs fan,  I support this message. He was about 6-8 and played like he was a 7 footer. Great effort and culture dude.

I always felt Blair was Craig Smith with no ACLs.  I loved Craig Smith and he’s often forgotten now . Absolute monster and him + Jared Dudley were a problem.
