So far the big upset of the day.  No more they deserved to host over UCLA, though they did have to travel across the US so probably a little tired with the time difference.

Not as a true freshman, but I've seen glimpses of what she can become in a couple of years if the staff develops her.

It is pretty amazing how quickly Wells passed up everyone on the pitching staff not named Kavan in just her true freshman year.  That's part a testament to her talent and part how non-elite the rest of the staff is.  It's a good thing Kavan is one of the top 5 pitchers in college.
