You are also assuming that this wasn't discussed when he signed because they probably knew Seaton was going into the portal. Bobby, has repeatedly said he wasn't  worried ( and he is a worrier) about the OL and this could be why.

Brother I get what you’re saying. I think the chemistry and trust are valuable for Goosby and Arch. On top of that though, I don’t think you ask your star LT to not go into the draft even though he’d be a round 1 or 2 guy, have him come back with the understanding he’d be the LT, and then after he signs his agreement you pull the rug out from under him and kick him out to right guard. Even if Seaton is a little better, you don’t do that to someone like Goosby. Your word has to mean something.

I  agree if they had no discussion about it.

He can come out next year and hes ranked below Goosby on draft boards, PFF, everywhere.

You think this was discussed? Goosby was already a 1st or second round pick. Do you really think Goosby came back based on the understanding that somebody not in the portal may come out? If that happens we are going to move you?
