If he isn't asking too much, he's a solid investment. I think he's a Trey Moore type where he'll have a hard time making the same level impact in the SEC.

We need two RB's in the portal now with Wisner gone. Can't hurt to reach out and see how receptive he is.

I feel like the tricky thing here is getting a player who could be RB1 at a lot of schools to come here and be RB2

Depends on how you approach it, Missouri got Hardy who has shared snaps all year. Even in their bowl game, #20 for Missouri got more snaps than Hardy seemed to.

He’s born and raised in Oklahoma and his former coach took the job at Oklahoma state. Take this for what you will.

Oklahoma State is tier 2 at best. It has limited NIL. If Morris was going to a bigger school I could see if following him, but Hawkins will likely have better options than Ok St from the portal. I guess it could be a fall back.

You split carries similar to Ohio State with Henderson and Judkins and some other 2 back backfields in recent memory.

1 or 2 Rbs in the portal, so yeah that would be great. I think he is better than Weisner and younger.

You think!!! What a way to judge another person.

I would rather have a proven RB at an SEC or Big 10 level

Yeah it would terrible to have Ahmad Hardy who came from ULM.

Just take one bell cow back (Baugh) who can handle 25 carries per game and a speed/receiver back (Brown, Durham) who gets about 10-14 touches (carries/receptions).  They have different roles.  The bell cow back saves wear and tear by not getting 300+ carries and the speed/receiver gets to show explosive plays while not getting beat up on inside zone runs.

He and Justice  Haynes would be my preference. I think that’s a champion level duo.

Yeah kinda hard to look at who North Texas plays…. Then think oh yeah if he did that against them then it will for sure translate to the SEC defenses he will see regularly.

But then again, you never know. Sometimes guys just need the chance to prove themselves against better comp and it works out well for them.
