Any thoughts on Whittingham’s hire at Michigan and impact it might have on M Lee?

Utah has developed some good OL under coach Jim Harding. If he follows Whittingham to Michigan, which I would assume he does, that could be enticing for Lee. There surprisingly hasn’t been much attrition yet since Moore was fired.

So does the current Michigan OL coach that will be leaving if Harding comes on board.  So does Gliod for that matter.

I don’t believe Lee is happening. He seems to love him some Michigan. I would have bounced from that dumpster fire but Lee stayed true. To stay at a place with kind of smell says plenty.

Same way i am feeling unfortunately. He’s an early enrollee so the decision gotta be quick, If it happens.

We’re good we have Kyle Flood.

As a parent, I dont know how I would feel comfortable sending my kid so far away to a program that hid alll that bull sh**. But that’s just me. My daughter is 3 so thank God I dont have to even consider college for her anytime soon 😂

Agree. Now that they have Willingham, fire the AD (under whom all the toxic mess happened) and all others complicit in the UM rot, and start fresh.

That said, I wonder how much was ignored to appease Harbaugh? Of course, knowing the dungheap he'd built, he leaves just in time before it implodes.

Are we sure that guy won't stay at Utah with Whittingham's hand-picked successor?

That Ship has sailed I would say. The kid and his family love them some Michigan style dysfunction it appears… I do find it interesting that a Hawaiian kid is dead set on going to an entirely different climate and freezing his butt off.

Whittingham is part of LDS and that’s a substantial reason he was so consistently formidable at Utah. As we know, schools in Utah have a solid pipeline of Polynesian descendants so this is really not a huge surprise; honestly one of the best hires in terms of retaining Lee

Meant to also include that pretty sure Lee is LDS

On a side note, I has no idea Michigan picked up Kerry Coombs. I'm guessing he doesn't send Christmas cards to Ryan Day.

Is that sarcasm? If so, I agree. I haven't been impressed, either with the recruiting or the on-field results. For some reason, Sark is protecting him.
