Would you pay $1200/year for true insider team info?

Featured Replies

Don't worry, not starting a competing website.  Was reading an Aggie sobbing article the other day and it regaled stories from Dennis Franchione era where while the HC at A&M, Coach Fran had a side gig charging fans $1200/year for team info.

That's just mind-blowing level stupidity only Texas A&M can inflict on you I guess.  Back to my original question, would you pay $100/month.  Let's call it $200/month, inflation adjusted, for inside information from the HC?  Let's just ignore for a second you want a clown that pulls a stunt like this to be the CEO of your program.

As good a job as Bobby and crew keeps us plugged in, I think I'd do it.  @Bobby Burton, you're welcome on the free market research.

There's no such thing as "true" insider team info. You are told what people want you to know, and the truths are filtered at least two times over.

The guys here do a good job of keeping you aware of stuff without being toxic to the program they cover.

I would, and then I’d start a competing website that charges $500 to deliver the information I got from the insiders. Easy money.

The Bunk I know has too much integrity to pull something like this

Nope, but there’s always someone with lots of money that spends foolishly (including Texas fans).

Rumor circulating that Cody Campbell saw the A$M "Inside Information" was $100-$200/month.

The New "Cody's Pipeline" is $1k/month and all the proceeds go to the Techsters NIL fund.

Guardrails? CFB Commissioner? Or perhaps fans would like to see the Congress pass the "SCORE Act" or whatever Cody and friends are calling it now?!

IIRC, the big draw to Fran’s newsletter was that he’d reveal injury/availability information and didn’t discuss such information publicly or with the media.

That is as bad as betting on your own team. Wow.

“Cody’s Pipeline”???  Is this serious?

Couldn’t come up with an alliterative word to Cody I guess.
