Texas EDGE Colin Simmons was named a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Voted a first-team All-SEC selection by the league's coaches and the Associated Press, Simmons ended the regular season with 41 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 15 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, two pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

It’s an absolute joke that Howell got it over Simmons. Howell juiced stats vs the worst teams TAMU played and went awol when it mattered.

Howell is all hype

What a crock.  Howell got whipped badly by Goosby.  Nobody whipped Simmons all year.  Simmons is clearly a better player.

I am still waiting for him to make a play against us and that game was two weeks ago now.

Dude literally won the award based on the viral clip of him beating his chest against a bum LSU squad

The huge difference is colin see’s/has seen two first round picks at left tackle in practice the last two years, But we can’t say the same howell or the Aggies.

I won’t speak about other players, I didn’t watch them too much, but I know this. I’m not putting Simmons on any second team anything.  He’s my first pick in the schoolyard if I’m team captain everyday all day . I don’t have to see the other guy to know this.

Without question, Simmons will be the higher draft pick and should have the most decorated NFL career if healthy. He can be about as good as he wants to be.

Second team huh? I’m guessing Superman and captain America were first team then right?

He's going to have so much motivation during this off season from the snubs. It's about to be unfair. Summer camp isn't going to be fun for our OL but they are going to get some good reps! He's going to be on a mission next season.

Sounds like they just placed a nice sized chip on his shoulder for his contract year.

He ain’t set the school record for sacks. Disappointing season. 18+ sacks out bust.

Once he develops an inside move to go with his outside speeds it’s over for OTs.
