Neither Notre Dame or Miami make it in. I think Notre Dame or Miami are the only teams worth playing in a bowl to “make a statement”.

It would be a statement that Texas was the best of the fringe teams. Would be a 4th win over a Top 15/10 win team. Would be a win over a recruiting rival.

I do not want to play Michigan. A win over Michigan wouldn’t satisfy any of the above.

Pretty sure we will play Michigan in Citrus, although USC might be a more challenging opponent

USC is ranked higher and that would put them in the citrus first the highest ranked SEC not to make the playoff
