Ewers missed on throws that he doesn’t miss on and it was arguably the worst quarter of offensive football for a Ewers-led offense that we have seen during his career. Still, however, we saw good moments from the veteran signal caller. Kevin Wynn Visit Update Florida State commit and OnTexasFootball 4-star+ DL Kevin Wynn (Greensboro, Ga./Greene County) will not be making the visit to Texas this weekend per a source very close to the 6-2, 324-pound defensive tackle. Texas wants Wynn to make his next visit to Austin with his father, who was not able to make the June OV. That is not possible now this weekend, so Texas and Wynn are rescheduling. There are even fewer things better than capsizing another team’s chances at post-season opportunities and demoralizing a fan base. So that was the case on Saturday afternoon when the Texas basketball team went to College Station and put Texas A&M and Bucky Ball back in its place, defeating the Aggies 76-70. Well, the SEC injury report for the Longhorns certainly was surprising. Texas punter Michael Kern, a freshman from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was listed as questionable. Kern appeared to tweak his groin against Mississippi State but Texas never punted again in the contest so his health flew under the radar. So the starting Texas punter, as well as the starting deep snapper, Tate Haver, are now listed as questionable.
